Default REMOVING glue (that sticky ****) after u take off EMBLEMS

ok, i've used Goo Gone and nail polish remover to try and get out the remaining glue after you take off emblems, particularly the "prelude" on my rear bumper. it hasn't come off and i have scratch marks from the tissue i used...

PLEASE how do i take it off??? thanks...

I used "Bug and Tar Remover" use your finger nail a lot You have to dig out the big bunches of gunk. The solutions can't penetrate that deep!

wd-40 or paint thinner works well, too. be sure to use paint thinner and not lacquer thinner. wax after you're done.

also, use a cotton towel or cloth instead of tissue.

That's what I used on my old car, gas followed by wax.

try goo off brand, goo gone is weak as heck.

goo gone come in an old school looking tin container,
and smells like the worst chemical you could ever smell.

but man does it eat away at goo!

fingernail and clay bar worked for me...get all you can with your fingernails (but try to be careful with the paint) then use clay bar to get the tiny pieces off

If you are smart.. dont waste your time scrubbing the **** out of it and risking penetrating your clear coat...

use KENT Speedy 500 cleaner... we use that @ out body shop.. its the best stuff.. and not too expensive.
