Default Why won't the screws on the bottom of my sideskirts unscrew?

I have all my moldings off ready to paint, but after searching I found that there are screws that should screw out of my sideskirts. BUT, the screws don't come out, they just turn. And I know their not stripped, because no one else ever tried to remove them. Thanks again a million

I don't think so. According to other posts, their suppose to just unscrew I guess, but mine aren't exactly "just" unscrewing. I'm affraid the screws rusted or something. I dunno, but I'd like to.

they are not really screws, they are kind of like plastic push-ins with an anchor. just pop the screw out with a screwdriver, and then pull out the anchor with some pliers. some of them might snap in half but they are just plastic and cost like 1$ at honda.

OR you can pry LIGHTLY with some thing thin and DO NOT push on the screwdriver at all while turning...

Remember for these type of fasteners your really trying to let them come out... so putting ANY amount of push force on them while turning will just send them past the threads you just backed it out.

good luck.
