Does anyone have their decks? Have you guys had good or bad experiences with them?

Thanks in advance!

I heard a rumor a couple years ago that RF decks were made by Jensen. Can anyone prove or disprove this?

IMO I just herd a Mp3 deck by RF top of the line, other than the "cool" song title display I WAS NOT IMPRESSED, sounded decent but there are MUCH BETTER CHOICES.

SilverDc2.....

Which team are you referring to?? All of the factory built Rockford cars I've seen have all Rockford equipment and that includes their latest projects (350Z, VW Golf). Here are a couple of links:

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com...s.pdf
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com...ID=76

If you are talking about Team RF......that's completely different. Members of this team don't have their cars built by Rockford. The basic membership doesn't even require that you have any Rockford equipment. The mid and high level memberships require that your system is 75% Rockford. This team is comprised of novice and pro competitors.

To answer the Jensen question.....Rockford originally worked with Delco of GM fame to manufacture their headunits. I'm not sure who Rockford uses now but as long as they produce quality equipment, it really doesn't matter.

cool. a couple years ago the guy that owns a local stereo shop told me about the jensen thing. he also told me that they had tried to get clarion to make their decks, but clarion wouldn't do it.

Let me guess.. The Stereo shop that told you didn't sell Rockford Fosgate though did they? You'd be suprised by the things people would pull out of their *** to sway a customer away from a Brand that they do not carry and/or make alot of profit off of. I've seen that sort of stuff plenty of times especially in the Car Audio stores.

one good thing about rockford decks is that their preouts doesn't clip even at full volume

Actually they do sell RF decks. As well as alpine, panasonic and eclipse. I was just chatting with the guy. I used to be in there all the time till they got all new workers that are all dicks. I don't know how much truth there is to what he told me though. I took it with a grain of salt.

BAH to rockford. I really don't care for any of their stuff. I personally thing their subs sound like wet farts and the decks look and seem cheap. Go with an eclipse, alpine, etc
