how to bridge orion HCCA 250

Default how to bridge orion HCCA 250

need links/advice on how to bridge one to 2 double voice coil subs
cannot find any info online and we have no manual

run both subs parrallel, that's + to -, + to -, and then hook the speaker wires from the sub box to the amp to the outside + and - on the amp, where you put the speaker wire on the amp, should say bridged and have little arrows or brackets showing where to put the wires, it's usually the outside two terminals, so the far left would be - and the far right would be +, kinda confusing without a diagram, sorry, let me know if you need more help

Your telling him to wire it in parallel but you don't know the impedence of the subs.
We need to know the impedence before we can tell you how to wire it. As far as bridging the 250g4 it should say it on the amp if not I'll check my amps and let you know.

subs are 4ohms, kicker comp vrs, we have it hooked up but the amp is cutting out!

thanks for the help ill print this for my installer!

Are the comp vr's dvc's? the orion hcca's is 1ohm stable so it shouldn't be cutting off.

yes! double coils, but if they arent bridged correctly, wouldnt it still cut out? i thought they were stable to .5ohms! arrrg! i HATE AMPS THAT YOU CANNOT FIND FGOOD INFO ON!
not even a wiring diagram? we have searched google until our heads hurt!

i have no idea! if its any trouble dont bother, i think i might trade it for 2 18w6 jl's, or sell it, its too expensive to have under my seat!
the guy who gets it will want a manual as he enters competitions and is a serios audio head, so maybe you could gimme your email and he will contact you, ive already 'destalled' it, thanks
