Signs of an worn out clutch?
I need to know what are some of the things to look for when it is time to get a new clutch. I think that i might need one but not quite sure. I have had the clutch since i bought the car and who knows how long it was in there before that. I just think it might be time. Also what one to get because my car is daily driver so i need it to have that oem feel but still grab better than oem.

a way common symptom of a dead clutch is when you're engaging the clutch, the rpm's climb, but the car seems to be going nowhere....aka clutch slippage.
Another symptom is the car will not engage any gear, this is usually pressure plate related though.
there's more symptoms, but those are the ones on the top of my dome piece.

It does have some slippage but it feels like it engaes way earlier then it use to. Also lots of play in the pedal before it actually feels like some resistance.
Cable or hydraulic? If cable, could just be adjustment. If it is worn out, it will slip easiest in top gear going uphill. If the revs go up and the speed does not, slippage. If it's worn that far, check the flywheel carefully for wear and get it machined properly.
Drive about 45mph in 5th and floor it. You will be able to tell if it is slipping. Also it has a odd smell when its slippin hard, smells like someone welding.
Honda tech in town told me to put it in fifth gear and get the revs up (3500 rpm) then slowy release the clutch.
If it dies the clutch is still good...if it trys to go then the clutch is no good.

For a replacement clutch look into most stage 1 clutch kits. Most offer 30-50% greater gripping capacity than stock for about $100 more than a stock one.
