Yeah, my car was doing the same thing...I'm on the highway then all of a sudden **** cuts off out the blue. I found out it was the ignition switch...try that.

Unplug the wiring from the back, get an ohm-meter to measure continuity, and a Helm manual to tell you what terminals are supposed to be connected to which others at each position of the switch. As you're checking, wiggle the key or the switch because wiggling it is NOT supposed to make the connection all flaky.

The ignition switch is the electrical switch behind the lock cylinder where you put the key.
The ignition module is in the distributor. Lots of people call it an ignitor.

I also have the same problem. I have a 94 Lx coupe too and my car dies on me quite often. This doesnt usually happen on the FWY though, but when i come to a complete stop, the rpm's drop to 0 then dies on me. The car doesnt shake or studder prior to the dying.
My team-mates and I have checked my spark plugs and they seem to be in good condition.
We've also changed the rotor. After i put the new rotor in, it seemed to be fine. Later that night i took my car to the canyons and it seemed to run great.
However, I also have a problem with a loss of power during 2-5 rpm. My car seems to lag in second alot and occasionally 3, 4, 5. For ex: I was on the FWY (in traffic) in third, when i saw an opening in the next lane, i downshifted to second and punched it, yet my car felt like **** and lagged through 2-5 rpm and then the power finally kicked in.
This problem also occured once in the canyons. (which was a lil scary)
I was thinking that maybe its the fuel. I have a B&M FPR. Do you think there isnt enough fuel pressure or fuel being pushed through?
Any help would be great guys. Thanks!

Hey I was curious if anyone could email me with a step by step on how to replace the main relay....I have a 1990 honda accord lx. And if anyone would like to sell me one instead of getting raped at honda, let me know. Uncendo1@hotmail.com thanks again and keep tuning
mine dies when I first start it up sometimes randomly. I'm thinking my idle control valve is screwed up because it idles low most of the time, and right now, it surges at idle sometimes too (like a vacuum leak)....but then steadies out, and then does it again a few seconds later, very odd.
Mine seems to be doing the same thing. After it warms up it runs fine. Any ideas? I have a 92 B16a with 450cc injectors, vafc, and Revhard kit. Help would be appreciated.
