Default auto tranny q

when i shift from park to drive, there is about a 1-2 second delay... some times i step on gas too fast after shifting from P to D4 before the 2 second delay and it give a jolt and weird sound...

Is my tranny dying soon??

no, everything is fine. you have to wait for the gears to engage. your auto takes a second to get from P to D4. if you mash the gas before the gears are set, you'll ruin your tranny.

that's a good idea. ATs are very picky things and best to be nice to them!

good luck and happy tuning
