Default T3/T4 choices for fast spool and good for 300whp

Ok, I did a search, and didn't find much that made sense to me.

Which turbo should I get to have a fast spool and will flow up to 300whp. I am looking to get a 60 trim and a .43-63 A/R. This is for my daily driver (f23) which will never see track life.

I was leaning towards a garrett ( $549 shipped ), but would like to know some more options for around the same price, or is the garrett ok for my needs.

thanks

isn't the 50 trim recommend for a 300hp goal and quick spool up times? also depends on how much boost you want to run

on a smaller b-series yes..but on an F series with 2.3L the .63 will spool as quick and get better than 300whp depending on the setup

I've been wondering the same thing. I posted the same question like two weeks ago and all everyone wanted to do was bitch instead of answer my questions.

So I called cheapturbo, I believe the same place your looking to buy from!!

They said the 50 trim would probably be just a litte to small for the GSR, he said, the T3/T4 COMPRESSOR SPECS:

.60 A/R HOUSING

57 TRIM WHEEL

TURBINE SPECS:

.63 A/R HOUSING

STAGE 3 WHEEL

would be really good for a GSR motor.

Thats what I bought just last Thursday, and since this is a popular turbo, they have them in stock, some of the more unpopular ones take about a week for them to receive parts and build.

So I think this or possibly a larger turbo would be what you want for a F series motor.

either cheapturbos or ks-motorsports
