Weird Smell
My car is making a weird smell after i rev it out throught the rev range.
It smells like crap (poo) after each time i give it a good one.
Bad cat converter? i dunno and i know that i'm throwing cel's, ie 12, 20, 41
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Do you know what those CEL codes mean?
12 = EGR sensor (check vacuum hoses, EGR valve lift sensor, and the EGR valve)
20 = Electronic Load Detector (excessive amperage draw on electrical systems - headlights, fuel injection, charging system, etc..)
41 = Oxygen Sensor Heater (improper voltage detected)
With your desrciption, can you be more specific. What yr Accord, trim level, auto or manual, any mods, stock or swapped engine? Also, any recent service done? How about mileage?

my friends 99 altima makes that smell, smells like rotten eggs when he revs it up or drives in hard. its the cattlyic converter, dunno y it does that though. its a new car!!
Just take your car to a shop. If it's still under warranty, even better. They will fix it right up. Although, I'm not too happy with the service that I'm getting from the V.I.P. Honda around here. My driver side window isn't aligned properly. Therefore, it rattles when I drive on bumpy roads. When I brought it in, they fixed the wrong window. They fixed the passenger side window, which was perfectly fine to begin with. Put in a new motor for no reason at all. But they were able to identify my bad O2 sensor quite fast.

He already told you...
The ELD is a little device for measuring electric current. It might live in or under a fusebox in the engine compartment. (I don't have a 5th gen.) It tells the ECM when big electrical loads are turned on or off, so it can use the IAC valve to hold your idle steady. Maybe it's broke or the wiring to it is messed up.
Your oxygen sensor has an electric heater built into it, because it doesn't work until it's hot. Either that built-in heating element is busted, or the circuit that powers it has a blown fuse or busted wire.
