i've happened to come into two different headers for my d16.
1) is dc sports header - think most people know about this one.
2) is holley airmass extreme (blue one)

so far i only have one issue. dc has the 02 bung hole right at the collector. so it see's all 4 cyl. the holley has the bung where the #1 and #4 cyls meet. so it only see's those too. in my mind that could lead to problems. am i just being too overly critical? would there actually be a performance difference between the two?

can you explain what makes it better? can't find any proven dyno #'s

 

1.) the O2 placment that you already noticed
2.) quality R&D
3.) quality parts
4.) proven customer satisfaction w/ that product
5.) b/c it's not an ebay special

 

i'm debating the o2 placement. What i know of o2's is that they should be within 15 inches of manifold for optimal heating of the sensor. When properly warmed it will read a truer reading. Since i am more concerned about power output that means i will mostly be WOT on the track so i would be in open loop mode of the ecu, so it will ignore the readings from the o2.

i really want to dyno both headers and see if there is a difference. however that lowers the price i could turn around and sell the other one for.

Please dyno if you have the means- I would like to see as well. I'm currently running a cheap "SS Autochrome" header from ebay that was super cheap & I got noticible gains from it; but I'd really like to see some dyno's of the diff header's (yes plural, as in multiple )
