Default old skool dc sports header ?

all right...i have a b16a that i am installing a header on right now and i have run into a slight hang up. my motor has o2 sensor a and o2 sensor b. on the stock manifold one bolted onto each runner prior to the downpipe (one sensor for cyl's 1+3 and onaother for cyl's 2+4). the dc sports header only has 1 bung for the an o2 sensor. do i simply splice one into the other so both circuits get signal and i avoid a check engine light? i got the header for really cheap and would prefer to not put any money into it to get a second bung welded into the other runner for the second sensor.

What does "old school DC sport header" have to do with what ur question was? I was hoping to find an answer for a question that has been in my mind for a while. My DC header has "DC fabrications" printed on a plaque down by the collector and not up by the head. Can anyone tell me if my **** is old school?

old scholl dc header has to do with mine is just like yours witht he dc fabrications tag at the bottom rather than on one of the upper runners. ours are from one of the first three batches produced by what i have been able to figure out.

the topic is there because my issue was on an old skool dc header and i needed to know if anyone else ran into the 2 sensors but only one sensor hole problem with theirs.

Even the "new" DC headers have only 1 O2 hole. Even though they are designed for the B16A motor, they were meant to be put on the newer OBD-1 style motors, where those only utilized a single 4 wire O2. On another note, a friend of mine ran only 1 O2 on his OBD-0 B16 and split the signal. Like u said, he just wired up both O2's to one so there is no CEL. Lots and lots of people say NO to that idea and say the motor will have problems, but his motor ran strong with no problems whatsoever.
