Default MSD wire questions

So i upgraded my ignition to complete MSD (control box, dist., wires, cap), but for now I have only the wires installed...

Before, when I launched my car, the plugs would pop out over the spark plugs themselves...

tonite, when I floored it on the onramp, I had my wire cover on, so the wire disconnected at the distributor! wtf! I immediately threw a signal, was firing only 3 signals with no vtec lol.

Any idea as to why they keep coming out They were put on tightly, too

I had a similar problem with my MSD wires popping out of the sparkplug too. I later realized it was because the sparkplug was not properly installed so at Vtec, the car would bog because I was only running 3 cylinders.

See the picture, small black zip ties around the boots attached to the distributor cap. Plug the wires in, push the boots on, strap a zip tie around the boot, cinch it down and trim the tail off. Never a problem again!

Do MSD plug wires still have this problem? Or did they correct it?

the reason they pop back off the plug is cause there is a leak in compression in it forcing them off this happened to mine make sure your plugs are down to 19ft lbs
