Front components and 1 subwoofer, what kind of amp?
I'm looking for an amp to power my front 6.5" component speakers and one 10" sub. What are my options? I'm considering a 4 channel amp and using 2 of the channels for the front components and bridging the other 2 channels for the sub? Is this possible and what kind of amp and features do I need to look for? Can anyone suggest a specific amp for my application? I'm running Infinity Kappa's in the front and an Infinity Kappa Perfect sub. Thanks.
Well you need to tell us what the RMS power on both your speakers & your sub is, it'll be a bit easier to find an amp with that info.
The front component speakers are 90W RMS and 270W peak. And the sub is 350W RMS and 1400W peak. Please give me your recommendations. Thanks again.

No budget still, but that amp would match up to your speakers well.

Also I'm not very familiar with wiring up a multi channel amp. Can someone explain to me how to bridge 2 channels for one sub? Thanks again.
how much do you want to spend, and how much quality do you want?
if you don't mind spending a bit, you could go for an Audison VRx 4.300...
2 ch on 4 Ohm+2 ch bridged on 4ohms 102 Wx2+ 380 W (RMS)
2 ch on 4 Ohm+2 ch bridged on 2ohms 90 Wx2+ 530 W (RMS)
to bridge, you'd basically take channel B Left positive to the positive side of the sub, and channel B Right negative to the negative side of the sub... the amp will have a diagram
I highly recommend audison. I have the model down, LRx4.300, and it pounds... so many accessories, so much to tune... I'm running two channels bridged down to 2ohms, which it doesn't supposedly support, but it still runs and doesn't overheat at all.

<3 my audison.only supposed to be running 4ohm bridged for the sub, but it's now at 2ohm with a focal polyglass 27v2 sub.... droool.
going to get the temperature activated cooling fans once I get my beast of a hatch on the road.
