im looking to get cp pistons but dont know which one will get me around 9.5-10.0
here is the set up:
b18a block
b16a2 head
81mm bore
oem head gasket
i need help on this please

 

would depend on ur crank too, rod height. ehh. i think if everything is standard, 9.5 cr pistons will net you 9.7 cr , right smack dab in the middle. a b16 head in general will usually increase cr by 2pts or more.

 

Well just find out the dome volume of a piston, go to http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...c.php and plug in the calculations

i have the 8.5:1/8.8:1 weisco's i believe you can get them in 9.5:1 as well. just depends on head cc, etc.. as to what your final comp will be. i used b18a pistons, and was told that the valve reliefs would be fine(same p# as b18c1 i believe), but i still need to clay it to be sure. if your not sure of the valve clearance make sure to check it out. hth

edit: mine came out to 8.8.1 .2 above using 8.5:1 pistons
