Default Just b00sted the R. Throttle problem. Need help

Hey guys, i just finished my drag gen III on my 01 ITR. Everything went well, but when i took it for a ride today, it just started revving high for some reason. I am running open downpipe because the shop had to order a 3" flex pipe, and i am going to get that welded on tomorrow; however, when i drove the car home, i gave it 1/2 throttle, and hit about 3.5k RPM, and then it just revved up to 6 or so untill i shut the car off. Anyone know what this could be?? It felt like the gas pedal was going down w/ out me pushing it. Any suggestions will be nice. Thanks guys!

( I posted this in the FI forum, but it couldn't hurt to post it here either )

how would a fuel line do that ?
anyway check the throttle calbe very very closely, and check inside the charge pipe and in the throttle body, something might have got sucked up in there.

couldn't that be a symptom of a slipping clutch?

could be but im betting not, same **** happened in the Ep 2 days ago and in my R once , the filter came off the intake tube and sealed the tube and kept the tb wot, and scared the **** out of us a few times. somrtihng stuck in the charge pipe or throttle body will cause that , i would check that 1st before going any deeper.
