if you have a MAXREV kit and is running it list your set up and if possible dyno numbers. also if u like the kit or not... negative and positives of the kit.

personally, i like this kit. i learned a lot from putting it on and working with it. i think the biggest obtacle was the DIY piping, but it wasnt that bad. the biggest drawback is probably lack of a dumptube, my ac line almost blew up. other than that it was a fun experience. the BOV is even not that bad.

im hoping to hit 300whp with 10lbs is possible on my b18c.

still working on the install.. the piping is hard for a 88 crx.. . so is the oil return..

 

oil return is always a bitch to do. good luck with ur install.

I'm running the MaxRev kit with a SMC+ and DSM 450's on a SiR. I like this kit too except it could've been a bit more complete (more piping, intake, dumptube). Besides that, I'm very satisfied with everything else.

Oh yeah, the downpipe was too long to bolt onto the stock exhaust system which sucked. But I guess this isn't such a bad thing since it forced me to get a 3inch exhaust which = more power!

 

My friend just got he maxrev kit for his sohc, looks really nice, except for the fact that they forgot a wastegate and took about a month to come in...BTW the pipin is pre-fabbed

 

Pre fabbed piping... must be nice. I wish I got that.

 

i got my kit earlier this year. like around march-april i think. prefabbed piping was not available till now i think. kinda cool if u ask me. maxrev does a good job at answering peoples problems and kyle at ks is the best at customer service.

i got mine with hondata s200b, and bought a walbro 255lph pump, cpr 550ccs, and a 2.5 catco cat. the lil parts added up in the end... like transition hoses, fittings, GEM oil adaptor etc...

I was told my wastegate was supposed to be shipped overnight to me today. Now I'm reading that they are on back order My experience with maxrev itself has been terrible, luckily I ordered my kit through Kyle though.

 

damn they got pre fab piping now? I wonder if its too late to upgrade if I still have the diy piping unused... Seems like you still have to do cutting and measuring though, since its universal.

 

i still have the diy unused aswell.. .

that was the hardest part of my install on my B18C turbo crx.
my intercooler pipes still ar not where I want them, and my wastegate blew a hole in my radiator, because I cant put a dump tube on it because the intercooler pipe runs right in front of it.
let me knwo if you came up with a nice way to run the pipe.
also the oil return line was a bitch. just chopped up my X-member.

i have the jimfab bar it helped.. . but still havn't done oil return or any ic piping
