want to know: how much for a quality tint job on back three windows of crx? how much have you guys spent? im looking around now and ive gotten three estimates so far....140,160, and 210 ! so any input would be appreciated. thanks

 

well in 2 weeks im getting my windows tinted on my 90 SI hatch
the back 3 in 5%,,and the front door windows in 35%,,and thats gonna cost 190$$

saturday im getting my windows tinted on my integra,,same % as my 90 civic,,and its costing the same

i got my windows tinted on my 94 hatch bout 3 months ago,,and i just got the back 3 windows in 5%,,,and the front windshield tinted down about 8 inches,,and that cost 125$$

1 thing u have to find out ,,is what thay will do about the dot matrix things on the back of your window,
im not sure if the CRX's have them,,but i know my integra,,and both my civic have it

the shop is just gonna just airbrush these black
cuz the tint sometimes doesnt stick good,,around the lil dots,,or the lines

some places might just put some black tape on the outside of the window,,to make it look tinted from the outside,

but if ur like me,,u will think its stupid,,

$50...buy the tint pre cut for your car and do it yourself.

 

i would say 150. that is how much this guy here quoted me, and he does very good work. that was just for 35%. i believe you get what you pay for, and any tinti job that costs like 100 doesn't seem good. since i know friends that do it and how much most people charge, 100 bucks would be a shitty job where i live.

 

I say do it yourself, why are you gonna shell out over 100 bucks when you can do it for less than 25 bucks, depending on tint. Its extremely easy to do and all you gotta do is have patience and take your time. Theres tons of webpages that show you how step by step or you can just ask anyone.

 

Nothing beats a tint shop....

ive gotten all my cars done for under 125....including my rex... and thats all windows...

If youre in California you shouldnt pay under 150 for the whole car....

 

$140 is the average price you will pay for a legit job(that's all the way around...windshield to bumper)...anything too much more than that is TOO expensive...ask around and find out if any of your boys knows anyone that does this on the side and you should be able to get it done for around $100, your local sound shop or garage is a good place to ask around too...trust me you'll find some that does this on the side.

 

this is sheisty.. all you guys are saying like 140 and 150 for windshield to bumper and ive talked to ALL the shops around in the area of about 50 miles and they say like 160 for the back three only....i dont know, im getting pissed.
