Tein SS or Apexi N1 world sport coil overs?
both are in the same price range and having trouble deciding wich to go after...
i heard with the n1 coilovers i would need to purchase type r lower controll arms... is this true?
anyone use either or have experiance?

itr lcas for the Apex N1 because its made for the type r and you would need the itr lcas to breed the suspension, personally im thinking tein would be a better suspension but i havent used either just from experiences with peoples comments ... but the Apexi is cheaper as well
wrong! the APEXi N1 dampers are at least $1000 more then the Tein SS's, and yes you need to purchase the ITR LCA's for the N1's to install...but not the SS's since they make them for the non-ITR models

i recently put in tein SS on a LS and i love them so far. i set them on full stiff and just rode around on them like that. on full stiff i can feel the road and take corners pretty nice. i haven't adjusted the dampening yet so i don't know about the real ride yet. as for the world sports, all i've heard is that they really good for daily drivers and some people do track on em. i haven't been in a car with WS so i can't fully answer that part. here's a quick breakdown of what i know about each.
tein SS:
height adjustable
16 levels of dampening
8kg(448lbs) front
6kg(336) rear
apexi WS:
height adjustable
6.5kg front
4kg rear
(not sure on either)

I have the SS on my DA and I am rather disappointed. I like a car that can rotate, and with the 9K front and 5K rear springs that Tein includes, that is nearly impossible. They are great if you prefer a set up with a lot of push, but they just don't float my boat.
I say get the SS. They are super easy to custom tune. Tein will revalve the struts to your spec and they make a bunch of different spring rates to suit any taste.
The SS with revalved rear shocks and 13K rear springs and the 9Ks in the front would be a sweet set up.

I've NEVER heard of the N1 WS(World Sport) Damper System. I only know of three damper systems from APEXi the World Sport Damper, N1 Type V Dampers, and the N1 Pro Damperi.......uh hmmmm.....correct me if i'm wrong. over....done...get it....i just HAD to correct this
.....Get WS or SS's for street.....N1's are purely for competition.....stiff as a ****!

If your going to go with Apexi go with N1 Type Pro....If your going with Tein go with Tein Flex. More money but better handling/ride.
How low can Tein SS's go? I am most likely buying some sono if they can meet my height requirements
I am dropped 3 inchs right now, and I want them to be able to go that low.... Let me know whoever has these! Im on 15s so i like it low.
