I bought a 97 Accord SE with 45k miles on it from a couple getting divorced for $7k.

Using the difference between the Type R and the Accord ($13k for the math wiz's out there) to pay for college haha

took 2 months to sell it? how did you advertise it? did it have any mods at any point(i saw you sold it stock)?

Took about 1 month to sell it. Did message boards and Auto-Trader which was $70 so pricey

Mods? It had a clifford alarm and a Kenwood eXcelon CD player, other than that it was bone stock, no engine mods, etc

Love Type-R depreciation. Used low-mileage 2000 S2000s (which had an MSRP of $32k, but many paid lots more) are getting very close to $20k now - I suspect by winter many will fall to that range.

I got my 01 NBP ITR w/ 25k miles for only $18k. Just look around hard and you can find better deals. Not a bad deal though I guess.

Still bummed that you sold it before I got the money. Flying up North this weekend to look at a couple of black R's. Hope at least one is worth buying.
