check your wires on your igniter module inside your dizzy they maybe lose and can kill the dizzy.

mine did that after i hooked up my crane hi-6 box and did'nt take care of it in time and killed my dizzy, my module had burnt marks all over the igniter prongs, hope this helps.

it could be the cluster just taking a sh_t as well. I replaced my dizzy/cap/rotor/wires/plugs when my tach started doing that & it didn't fix it, so I swapped in an HF cluster & it works fine now.

what if your speed is at like 30 miles per hour but you start to slow down, then the speedometer just drops to zero?(im moving at about 20 miles per hour) what can the problem be there? i was thinking that it was my cluster but i was also thinking that, it could be some wires also. can anyone help me out?

This is a pretty common problem after the MPFI swap as well, you didn't state that you had done that, but I did and had the same problem.I just went over all my connections, especially the TDC and CYL wires on the dizzy making sure all the connections were good and I guess that fixed it because it doesn't do it now.
