Default Me and the 1st time on track

Yesterday, we had a kind of DRAG racing over here!

Since DRAG racing is not common over here I was very excited to here that there is one. When I visited the place at 9:00 AM there where lots of cars there! 1 Subaru WRX (270 crank hp), CRX with a real SPOON engine (190 crank hp, redline 8400) I saw it with my own eyes!, two other ITRīs, a punch of Vettes, Ricers Golfs, Corrado G60, Lancia delta Integrale HGP Turbo, two Audi S3 (one was my friend), Porsche Carrera (250 crank hp), two Ford Cosworth with over 350 crank hp .........

I thought WOOOHHOOOO, itīs gonna be very interessting with those cars.

A very hot day (32 degree C) and above 750 meter sea-level. It was a 1/4 mile road and showed up the 1/4 mile time and speed!

My best run of two was 14.35 @ 151.5kph (94.1mph)
The Porsche had 14.33 @ 152kph
MY friends Audi S3 has 13.97 @ 151kph (benefits from tones of tourqe and 4WD.)

The G60 and Lancia was not good, they claimed they have over 200 crank hp and hit only mid 15īs.

One Cosworth was in the low 12īs, I think 12.06!

I canīt say what the other cars runs b/c I leaved the event and went into the swimming-pool, but all the times of all the cars will be soon on the internet and Iīll post the link.

What do you think of my numbers? I had mid-good launch with only very little wheel-spin. I have 17 inch wheels with 225/35/17
and one rim + tire weights 18.8kg (41lbs), pretty heavy!

I'm sure many people would be quite happy with a 14.35.
What type of improvements have you done?

Do you mean with improvements my mods to the car or my improvements to the 1/4 times?

Well.....my mods for the car are listed in my sign and for the track, I did 2 runs and the 1st one was 14.35 and the 2nd was 14.54, both with 151.5 kph.

Pretty good times. You would have been quicker with the stock 15 inch wheels & tires.

I was referring to car improvements, such as a header, exhaust, intake ... sorry for the confusion.

shouldn't you be running faster with a supercharger? i would think at least low to mid 13's.

i would expect it to be a 13.9 at least, i'm running 14.3 with just AEM CAI, and JDM 4-1 header. stock tires, stock rims. i think his rims may have slowed him down a couple tenths. who knows. What were your 60' times?

750 meters are about 2200 feet. On 18 August is the next DRAG-race and Iīll go there with my 15 inch stockers!
Sorry, but measured was only 1/4 mile time ant the speed.
