hey guys.. i replaced a waterpump on 88 accrord now car wont start.. i turn the bottom pully and the camshaft or top pully wont turn.. dont know much about carboratd cars.. but when i turn the key the bottom pully turns but not the cam. any solutions asap thanks...

 

timing belt isn't on right or isn't tight enough

 

fix your timing belt you may have already messed up your vlaves.... you have to put everything to top dead center and put the belt back on and loosen the tensioner and then tighten it again .... why did you even mess with the timing belt if you only needed a water pump they are external on that car

 

i did not mess with timing belt.. just took the valve cover off to see if it will turn.. thanks though.. will check tomorrow ..
