Default tapatapatapa

I have 91 j-spec b16a in my rex that I have rebuilt the head on and re-adjusted the valve/follower clearance numerous times. It always made this loud clicking/tapping noise that I haven't been able to get rid of for the life of me, and it drives me nutz in traffic. all I can think of is that the v-tec follower dampeners aren't working correctly (I heard they are there for noise suppression when the motor is on the low cam) because when my motor kicks into v-tec it seems to go away. It is not the injectors, those were replaced with RC engineering units. I'm sure someone has run into this before, because I get the same stupid sympathetic look every time I ask someone about it. help

Yes, listen to 88DXCRX, he said that was wrong with my motor and he was right! I ordered a "lost motion assembly" from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and had it replaced.

Rebuildable, I doubt it, it is much better to get them replaced...
