Default Car is smoking! Help!!!

Ok, i have no idea what happened today, but for some reason the car was smokign like crazy through the vents. I don't usually redline my car evey day, but I did it today (8600) all the way to 3rd gear. Anyway, smoke started pouring in through the vent and it stunk like hell (can't describe the smell). This is the first time it has ever happened. My vents were turned up all the way so that explains why the smoke was coming in. I pulled the car over and checked the plugs, they were definatly white, but other than that nothign seemed too serious. Where is this coming from? I am running a little lean up top. Yack tuned my car and im around 14:1 ratio all the way. Car doesn't feel any weaker since the incident, and i did a compression check 235-240 across the board. Anyway, I am definatly not gonna punch the car until i know whats wrong. Can anyone describe a possible cause for the smoke and the smell?

Just to let you know, here are my specs.

b18c5
toda a cams, gears
mugen 2 layer gasket
toda header
aem intake
test pipe
mugen exhuast
vafc

Car does burn a little oil ~ 1 quart every 3000 (im running castrol syntec)
Coolant level is ok

clutch maybe??? did it feel like the clutch was slipping? if so then the clutch smoke could get trapped under the hood and get suck in through the vents.

Hmm... interesting. My toda clutch is only 12k miles old though, but on cold mornings it feels like it slips. At the time it didn't feel that bad though, and it didnt smell like burnt clutch. But i did have 3 people in the car. You think added weight would add that much load on the clutch? I did launch the car form a stoplight pretty harshly Yeah im a ricer . Thanks for the insight keith. Hmm if the smoke were be coming from my engine, where can it come from, headgasket(which only has 4k miles on it)? Anyone else?

Maybe some plastic or something got stuck on your header/block and it's burning?

Also, the clutch idea is very valid. Some batches of Toda clutches are made by Exedy, right? 12k mi might have worn it down quite a bit, if you drive hard.

Yeah after keith mentioned it I was thinking the same thing. Exedy and Toda clutches are made by the same company. Weird thing is that It didnt smell like a burnt clutch.

A friend of mine had that problem with the piston rings, but there was no smoke pouring from the vents.

Recent Oil change? perhaps oil is leaking down onto the exhaust and burning, then going to your vents.

Update, ok im an official idiot! Found out what the smoke was. Well since the incident I noticed my bass (2 jl 10w3s) was not working, but at the time i didn't care cause i was freaking out about my car. Ok, so I walk outside to go to walmart today, and for some reason my power locks were not working. I'm like wtf. So I pop the hood and look at the power door lock fuse and its alright. Then i look at the interior fuse box and to my surprise I found a burnt wire. The is the wire that comes from my amp to the fuse box. The wire was completely desentigrated, nothing left but molten metal and plastic ashes. When I did my fast and furious launch a wire back in my amp got loose and touched the other. The wire got cremated and the smoke was sucked into the vents and back out. So my first Idiot instict was to think that I focked my motor up while redlining. So now my power locks are focked, I spend a while pulling fuses and checking them. The one connected to the amp was blown of course and I replaced it (funny thing was that it wasnt PL). Well finally i get frustarted and hit the fuse box with my maglite a couple of times, now everything works . Well anyway, all is well now, already tested my car (redline), Sorry for wasting peoples time. Thanks guys.
