Default can someone identify this motor mount please??

what a great day, not only did i have to goto jury duty but on my way there i broke an axle, after catching a ride to the courthouse and sitting around all day i finally got a new axle in my car and drove it a few miles and i noticed it felt really wierd, i popped the hood and looked around a little and noticed this nice broken trans mount so now i guess i need to know what brand it is so i can go about replacing it, i bought my motor already in another crx with a bad body on it so i just swapped everything into my car, i was told they where hasport mounts but i was hoping someone could confirm this is hasport or not thanks....

Looks like a Hasport to me. Send that pic to Hasport and see what they say.

Yes, it looks like HasPorts older style mounts with the early "orange" urethane. I've had problems with a few of the early kits. The orange urethane would breakdown and allow too much engine movement. I never had the actual mount break on any of my customer's cars.

You see that little divot, or mark near the center of the mount? That's from the frame of the passenger side chassis rubbing against the HasPort mount because there was too much movement in the mount. ( Its a spot for a 10mm bolt to go into )

Although I lost labor ( and shipping ) to take out those bad mounts and replace them, HasPort pressed in the newer "black" urethane under warranty and shipped them back to me.

I havent had any issues with those now and with the latest "billet" style mounts yet.

Now if only HasPort would hurry up and release the EF hydro conversion set-up soon!!! hehehhehe

HasPort is a great company in my book!!

call hasport, im sure they can take care of it, and to confirm those are indeed the old style hasport mounts, same ones i got in my car. Old orange urethane does wear out, mines are pretty worn and they make the entire care vibrate harshly in the winter time, ive called hasport and they have a lifetime warranty on the urethane so if you just send em your mounts they can press new urethane in and send the mounts back to you. Ill be doing that as soon as i get off my *** and lay my car up for a couple days.

cool thanks for replys, i wonder if hasport will honor there warranty as i dont have the reciept for those mounts and im no the one who bought them from them, if not i guess i will just shell out the cash to get a new set of mounts, im afraid that bending that **** back and having it welded that it would just break again. as for how i broke it, i dunno, im just good at breaking things, im pretty much just a stock b16a, i guess im just lucky like that
