so i locked my keys in my car...
so i was in a hurry the other day, and accidently locked my keys in the car (89 civic hatch) . I tried prying the door back a little, and put a coat hanger in, but got no luck with that. I then tried using a slim jim, but couldnt get it to hatch on anything to open the door. What can i do to get in the car without paying 80 bucks for a locksmith? thanks for any ideas
when the hangers inside the car, do i just try to push the lock over? it seems like its pretty stiff, like the hanger will jus bend if i try to push it.
The problem with the slim jim is it has joints, and when i try to tilt it, it bends.

yeah just try to push the lock back, the hanger will be strong enuff or if you got a long enuff hanger you can reach for the hatch release cuz it pulls up real easy
hmm i dono if i can pry the door back far enough to get my hand in there, that seems like it will perminantly bend the door out.
The hatch idea is great!!!! i never even thought about that one, im gonna try that !!
