Oil on plugs. Are they ruined?
Just installed new plugs but after using them for a few hundred miles they have had oil on them probably due to bad spark plug seals. Are these plugs ruined or are they still usable. The problem is causing a noticable loss of power.

not a good sign???...who cares its a simple 6 dollars at your Acura dealership to get new O-rings for your spark plug seals on the valve cover...
search for oil and spark plugs and every single person that has had this problem (hundreds) fixed it with new seals...cheap and easy...
i just did it to my gsr and it worked perfect!!!

Um...forgive me if I'm missing something...but oil on the sparkplug usually is a sign of blowby...yeah..it could be the seals..but but if it isn't, maybe you should be concerned...better to investigate the problem while it seems small, than to try to wish it away and blow something.

Am I correct in assuming that if oil is on the white ceramic part of a sparkplug, its the spark plug o rings or valve cover, but if its on the tip of the plug it means one of your piston rings has broke?
