will H series throttle body fit on d16y8 without a problem?
Is this as simple as a bolt on deal? Will the throttle rotor rotate the right direction? How will the sensors match up? Thanks.
Yes, if you don't port match the intake manifold you won't see hardly any gains. The bigger throttle body and port matched intake will provide only a small hp gain, the major gain from doing this is the increase in throttle response.
I'm not looking for a monster HP gain. I'm going for throttle response. Will an h22 TB from a 97 prelude fit? Are all h22 TBs the same? I know nothing about preludes. Thanks.

we just said it will fit, but port match the intake manifold opening to the TB opening, or else its a waste of time. the two diameters are totally off.

Yes. It's the same concept. With just a bigger throttle body it won't do anything because the intake manifold won't be able to flow as well. You must port match.
