quick question on oil change...

quick question on oil change...

last week i changed my oil and i thought that the pan was light so poured it back into the bottle and it only made 2 quarts instead of thre and a half. what could that be. how do i check? could it be that i didint warm up my car or what?

you never get the same amount out but 1 and 1/2 quarts is to much. what kinda car year model?

U probably only got 2 qts because the oil was cold and therefore flowing like ***. If the oil was hot and that happened then.... remember the filter houses .3 L's aswell.
