Default Pioneer DEH-P8400

months ago i was the victim of a break-in at work. came back to my car at the end of the day to find my alarm cut, deck gone, sub, cd changer, all the **** out of my glove box, and all of my cd's . luckily my amps were still there. many thanks to insurance for helping me out here's a new pic of the replacement deck.

I have that deck too. I just bought it about a little more than year ago. No complaints here. Great sound, great quaility. The only thing that bothered me was that the title's and information doesn't scroll. If you hold down a button and it will scroll for a few secs that's it. Other than that it's a very good deck.

Out of curiosity how much did you pay for the deck and where did you get it?

I bought mine for around 323 minus the tax and shipping. It retails around 550 at most places like best buy.

i think you got a pretty good deal on yours. i paid about $400 and that was hooked up through a friend from good guys. so far no complaints either except i don't like the little remote. i use to the old premiere remotes that are shaped like a candy bar

I had that deck in my car for about a year, loved it. Gave it up for a in-dash system though.

what are the differences between that deck and the 2003 DEH-P8500MP ???

I have a pioneer deck that is about 2 or 3 yrs old....deck is starting to act up so I am looking for something new. I love pioneer decks and had my eye on the 8500MP

man, that was the best deck imo, had to capability to do everything and looked pimp. luckily when it was stolen the thieves missed the little box that hang from the back of the deck and without it, it will never come alive. bitches stole my pride and job and turned it into a paperweight.... ahhhh
