i bought the nakamichi 6 disc cd player about 3 yrs ago. and i love it .. plus the best part is that it looked stock.. the only thing i didnt like was that it didnt have sub controls on the deck to tune out the sound .. but overall it was awesome. i shelled out i think around $600 for that puppy... wayyyyyyy too much, but what the hell i had no bills to pay.

nakamichi is nice high-end stuff, in dash changers have problems tho, no matter who makes them.

Do they even import car audio anymore, though? Their US website (www.nakusa.com) doesn't list car audio at all. And the world-wide website doesn't list any US distributors. That'd be a shame, since the display is an exact match for my benz'.

I've got an in-dash 6 cd changer from Eclipse in the crx that works flawlessly.

Thats nice but I would just stick with alpine and jl audio or some kickers. nakamichi is overated and they know that and so they raised there prices. Good stuff tho!

I had nakamichi speakers before. You can tell they are very well made. I don't see their products around much anymore though.

how is sony overrated you dumbass. i have seen a lot of people talk **** about sony all day long. i rarely hear people say anything bad about nakamichi, it is usually good the things. like, high end equipment! yea right, high end 10 years ago, they were orginally praised for their tape decks.

the fact is nakamichi is not as good as people make it to be.

you are right, there are a lot of companies who are overrated as well. your point? we are discussing nakamichi here. i am just stating what i know. another fact i would like to point out before im done is, you are a big *** idiot.
