I have a 35mm wastegate and in the process of solving my no boost problem...my bov works cause i can hear it when i rev the engine-the problem has been no boost....
i have already checked my charge pipes and intercooler, no leaks....
today i took off my tial wastegate...hooked it up to a compressor and blasted the thing...it opened up...when i hooked it up to the compressor it stayed opened...i wasnt sure about the psi since the lowest setting was around 15 psi.....could my tial wastegate be the problem???? is the opening of the wastegate my boost lost???? this is the last item that i am checking to see why i am not reading or feeling any boost....

one thing.....if that wastegate wouldnt open.....you would get infinite amount of boost.

your problem lies elsewhere......

 

maybe you need to adjust the bov tighter...it might be tight enough to blow off but too loose so it bleeds off...
