Default how do thieves disable a car alarm with radar?

I had my teggy stolen last week. I had a excalibur gold with radar. They stole it in front of my house and no one heard a thing. I dont think the alarm went off at all. usually a cat touching it makes it go off. So how the hell did they disable it without it going off at all? I am thinking of plans on how to protect my next car.

my guess is somehow popped your hood and cut the siren or power, or if you have a cheaper alarm that doesn't use a fuse for the parking light wire, you just pop out the housing and short the wire, frying the brain when it tries to flash the light (again only on really 'el cheapo' alarms)

Radar? do you mean a proximity sensor? Excalibur sucks in my opinion. Should of gone with any DEI product. Tegs are the easiest to disconnect the battery. Ever notice a removable plastic piece right below your passenger wiper. Yes, It leads straight to your battery and yes only integras so far i've seen have it only.
