when u got ur b16 in ur 90hb did they say....
Nope...they said I was gonna have to run open header till I can get an exhaust built for my set up.... I didnt want to run the small *** garden hose exhaust anyway, not even temporary.
when i put my LS in, i put an HP 4-2-1 SS header in.. it was about 4 inches too long to bolt up to the exahust, the cat flange was rotated wrong, and the header was too angled. the shop had to heat and bend my downpipe and fix the exhaust so it would bolt to the header.
tell them to custom weld it up to your (whatever) kind of exhaust you have. I have a custom exhaust setup and they had to change it also when i got it, but nothing is too hard at a muffler shop. dont spend 500 or so on a catback if you don't want to

no because i did my swap my self, but when we got it all in we discovered that i would need a quick solution,
the solution is that if you have a 99-00 si b16a stock manifold lying around it will bolt up, since its a shop they should have one somewhere. if not buy a header,

I have an 88 STD hatch, and I flipped the stock cat so it would line up with my SiR downpipe... there was also about 3" of space between my downpipe flange and the front of my convertor, so I simply had someone push the muffler forward until I could get the bolts and springs attached to the flanges. These guys are just trying to tap you for more money. If you can't do the things I mentioned, any competent muffler shop can flip the cat and add an extension in the piping if it's too short, like mine was; I didn't bother. I saved for an exhaust, and it ran fine with the jury rigged stock system.
