Rear SwayBar, Front Lower Tie, Rear Lower Tie... Which one, which Combo?
I'm looking into beefing up my suspension mods this month and would like some help choosing parts.
To date I have: neuspeed front upper strut bar, tokico shocks, tanabe super H springs, on my 5th Gen
From my recollection, the rear lower tie bar is the least improvement suspension mod. Is that right? Why? If yes, so should I just not get it at all?
Something else on my mind is that I may forgo the swaybar upgrade and just purchase the lower tie bars for now. My reasoning is that the prelude already has "decent" sway bars, but not tie bars. Perhaps adding these braces would satisfy me for now, and then get the rear swaybar later. What do you think?
Right now, I'm looking at Tanabe for the tie bars and Suspension Techniques for the Sway bar. (True, the Tanabe bars are not billet, but spot welded and can be made in house - but i prefer the name backing the product) Does anyone have any expereince with the Tanabe lower tie bars? Does anyone know if Tanabe makes a rear sway bar for the 5th Gen Lude?
Sorry, one last question... for owners that have the FULL Suspension Techniques swaybar kit (front and rear).. do you suffer from squeking sounds? - My shop so far has only sold full kits, and have repeatedly convinced me not to get swaybars because of the squeking sounds. But many others say there is no squeaking, but those who say so only own the rear section, not the full kit. Please shed some light if you can.
Thanks, and sorry for the long-winded post.

Quick answer--
Lower bars are basically useless, mainly in the rear. Get either the ST sway bar or the Neuspeed (my choice). Also get yourself the Spoon rear upper bar and then you will know the difference in handling. BTW: May I assume that you have had the car properly aligned and if needed camber kits installed. Check my setup on HP.
THere is logic in my setup and it works great for twisty roads <G>.
As to squeaking in the bushings-Suspension Techniques bars require a lot of lubricant to keep them quiet. I have their bars on my Civic and they are noisier than my Neuspeed on the Lude.

Tie bars are tie bars, as long as they keep your suspension components connected they will work fine. I have a 30$ adjustable No name strut bar on the front and back and couldn't be happier.. Get a rear swaybar first, huge difference.. Poly bushings squeek, just get used to it or lube it often..
Sway bars are the best handling mod that you can do on any Honda (except for the ITR), period. I haven't put swaybars on a car where the bars didn't change the entire handling feel of the car. Definitely get at least the rear bar.
