turbo seals gone bad ??

Default turbo seals gone bad ??

if the seals inside a turbo were bad....is it possible that it could force air down through the oil reutrn line and up into the motor ? causing MAJOR problems ??????

Not necessarily causing major problems, but yes. I have sen several turbos that would leak boost through the center section into the oil passages.

Usually, this pressure will just escape out the crankcase vents. But you don't want to keep it like that.
