first of all, i have a c's short shift kit and mugen bushings. whenever my car is at about 2700 RPM..it rattles. is this something that would be solved if i threw the stock bushings back on? what else should i do to see if the problem is solved? any info appreciated. thanks guys.

 

Try loosening the shift lever to shift linkage bolt, the one located on the end of the shift lever. All other bolts should be tight but that one will cause a rattle if too tight. Don't loosen too much just enough to stop the rattling.

Hope that works. It worked for me and my shifter bushing setup.

 

is it rattling against your exhaust? take it to an exhaust shop so they can drop teh exahsut about 1/2"..

 

Is your exhaust heat shield still on? My money's on that one. Rip it off and no more rattle.

mine did that too and it was the heat shield.......
