Yes, another VAFC question......
Im getting ready to install my VAFC. I need a few quick questions answered.
First of all, do I use diagram WH-3?
Next, Im runnings Kenji's ECU, do I splice into the OBD2-1 harness, or the stock harness? Is there anything specific I should do to avoid running into problems wiring the VAFC with the Kenji ECU? Solder gun, solder and electrical tape enough?
Thanks in advance

Sorry dont have the vafc book in front of me so i dont know which diagram to point u to...but I would recommend to splice into the obd1 wiring. Solder all connections to the wiring for a secure fit.
EDIT***
Sorry I didnt see the link to the apexi site. If your going to splice into the factory wiring use the wh-3, if your going to do the splicing into the obd1 harness then use the wh-1 wiring. I suggest the obd1 harness.

Ok since we are asking questions, I have done many installs on Type rz and Siz. On a 2000 civic hatchback: JDM type R motor 98+, Chipped P28, Obd 1 harness
( skunk 2 ) which diagram do i look at? Do i splice into the skunk or stock wires?

i dont understand how u guys get confused. u use the diagram for which harness ur splicing into. its not that hard. hell ill give an example. OBD2 car with OBD1 converter: alright use the diagram for the OBD2 car IF AND ONLY IF U SPLICE INTO THE FACTORY HARNESS. alright IF u want to splice into the adapter harness use the diagram for OBD1 and only splice into that.

Correct. I recommend closer to the ecu because of grounding purposes. If you read in the manuel it will tell u to ground one of the ground wires closer to the ecu then the other. Plus if later on you want to return to stock, the stock wiring will be untouched.
