i posted this here because i thought it would get the most attention. i have a 03 ep3 with a short ram intake and a greddy evo cat back. i'll be running it next wednesday and just wanted to get some idea's on what rpm you guys have been launching at and have you been feathering the clutch, dropping the clutch, ect. thanks for your imput. i'm looking for a good 60ft because that seems to be the key to a good run.

 

just rev it to 4500RPM and dump it. You'll burn your tires all the way thru 1st gear and be on your way to a 15.6 second pass with a sweet 2.455 60'

 

I think that it depends on what tires you are using. I use Azenis for autocrossing and I rev to 3.5k and dump the clutch with minimal tire squealing.

 

I'm on stock tires. I keep it steady at 2700 and feather it out. Little wheelspin.

 

What kind of tires do you have?

 

i'll be running the good old factory michelin's.

 

thanks ANJ, i was doing some research for us for wednesday.

 

i rev it to 4500 and feather it a little bit.....I had a 2.3 something 60 foot time and the 15.8 through the traps...and that was stock in 85 degree weather
