My current setup is Koni Yellows w/ Ground Control Coilovers. would i see any improvements in putting on a matched set of coilovers (i.e. Tein, Zeal, etc.)?

 

what is it you are trying to do with the car? Do you race in any sanctioned events? Street driving only? Tell us to better answer the open ended question.

 

You could benefit from a coilover unit such as (Tein, Zeal...) or it could be a step backwards. It's all about picking a setup for your application.

 

sorry, car will be used for daily driving and autocross... i'm just wondering if there's any huge difference between the two ways of doing it... but i notice you guys aren't exactly screaming yes, so i'm guessing it won't be worth the 800-1500 dollar investment

The car will be lighter as a result of your wallet having a lot less money in it.
