IM GUESSING YOU HAVE A 98& UP ACCORD CUZ IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED YOUR RADIO CODE. IF IM RIGHT HERE ARE THE DIRECTIONS TO PULL YOUR RADIO OUT.

i had to get my serial number the otherday too . first take out the 2 screws under neath the black molding(top from the shift ****). Take a small flAT screw driver and stick it under neath the clock(slightly push in and up, the clock should come out easy. then behind the clock THERE IS a screw, remove that. also pull out the 2 A/c ***** too. now pull the black piece up slowly from the bottom and you will see it pop off. then wen you get to the radio remove the 4 silver screws and pull the mother fu*ker out. ****MAKE SURE YOU DONT DISCONNECT RADIO HARNESS. THE SERIAL NUMBER IS ON THE BOTTOM OR RADIO. hopefully this helps. pe@ce
