Head removal b16a2
Ok, I have to remove the head on my 99 Si with a stock b16a2.
The valve cover is already removed. I marked the teeth on the timing belt with the spot that it sits in on the cam gears. Can i slide off the T Belt and keep tension on it to remove the head instead of completely removing the t belt? Then i can remove the cams and get to the head bolts.
I have a Helm, and i was going to just remove the entire T Belt, but i can't get off the lower t belt cover?! One bolt left, but it bangs into the crankshaft pulley!!!
Thanks

thanks guys.
The tension is behind the lower t belt cover.... From what i understand there are three bolts that hold the cover on. I got 2 of them off, but the third starts to come off, but then it BANGS right into the crank pulley. WTF do i do? I was thinkin about just cutting around the plastic and letting it slide out?
