Mine did a couple of weeks ago. It has done it a couple of times but has fixed itself but this time it lasted awhile. I took it to Acura and they said they could fix it for $250 but said my extended warranty didn't cover the radio. I picked up a Alpine CDA-9811 and I am loving it.
Same here.
Pisses me off so bad.
SOMETIMES disks work.... 2/3 of the time they don't.
Some disks in particular (CD-R disks never work) never EVER work, some always work.

what does the error code actually mean??

Try a lens cleaner before you ditch it...just a $10 piece from best buy or something. You'd be amazed how much crap gets on the lens.
same stupid thing has happend to me ...2 F**KING times, with 2 different ITR stereos
Im convinced that its all the rough canyon driving that I do that causes it, there should be no other reason.
What i did was buy a $5 lens cleaner from a electronic store, used that a few times, gets the problem away for a few weeks.
What also works is if you put in a CD...and scroll over to like track number 7 or something (used track 7 as a example, skip to a track in the middle of the cd) it would usually work. But again would only solve the problem for a few weeks. Im on my 3rd itr stereo...im awaiting this one to crap on me too

That's happened to me once... but never again. Now however, I have a Pioneer head unit, so no problems for me.

My AM does work worth a ****, and 1/3 of my CDs will skip like crazy even though they have no scratches. Sometimes if I eject them and put them back in they'll work fine.
Sucks. I like the non-bling stock radio look.
