Im 70% sure im going turbo this spring, right now i wanna set up my car to get ready for this change. MY exhuast has **** the bed and i need a new one pretty soon, my question is if i get a thermal and get the 3" exhaust, with a na setup will this kill my car performance (na) or should i get the 2 1/4 and just use that will the turbo? im planning of using a smaller turbo and only running 7-9 psi, with stock internals,

no matter what level boost you plan to run, the more open exhaust the better. I'm pretty sure you will like the sound of the exhaust as the Thermals seem to sound a LOT better on FI cars.

 

You can always get the 2 1/4 , then sell it when you go fi, and just get a custom exhaust...
