Default b18C Spec R in EF8

Hi guys.

Ive got my JDM ITR motor and tranny ready to go into my SiR. Question is should I convert to obd1 and use a P28 ecu to run Hondata or should I use a obd0 - obd2 conversion harness from http://www.locashracing.com/adapters/01.htm to use my P73 ecu that came with the motor. Is there any type of external mangement similar to Hondata that can be used on a P73 ecu?

If I decide to go obd1, do I need to replace the obd2 distributer etc on the motor for an obd1 version. I will be keeping the car all motor (no force induction).

Thanks in advance

Mark

my opinion, if you want to tune you engine how you want. Switch to OBD1 and get a hondata. No one makes a piggyback for the OBD2. As for the Distributor, It can be rewired for OBD1....there is some one on the EF board asking this very same question about the dist.
