turbo-nitro? I'd probably go with a fully built B16A. Fully built meaning, low comp pistons, rods, balance, sleeves, upgraded valve-train, turbo cams.

If you're interested, we have a 91 Civic Si that's already in its finishing stages, we're selling for $9K...Motor has zero miles (B18a, eagle rods, je pistons, crower valve train(springs & cams), drag turbo, electromotive tec2, lightened flywheel, act clutch) customer spent over $12000 but either changed his mind or ran out of money...reason he's selling. I can take pix if needed.

I would go B18a if you can find one. The bigger displacement will help you spool turbos better. As a matter of fact my B18a swap is for sale right now> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=550466

yeah whatever engine i get i will be adding stuff slowly. first thing im doing is droping in a new motor(within a month or 2). then probably intake headers and an exhaust. then late this year/early next year a turbo will be going in it. but i plan on upgrading it all as i get the $ which wont take to long.

i was told the b18 has better mid range power then the b16. and the b18 might be a little stronger and cheaper ?? dont really remember what we all talked about last night but i was by the local performance shop for like 4 hours getting prices on suspension kits and alot of other stuff.

i want to run atleast like 12s. or lower with street tires if its possible. dont know to much about imports yet

i want to spend about 6 grand tottal on the motor. and i want it to be fast w/ good street tires.

I stand corrected...I'd choose a B18C1 or 5 (GSR or Type R) if I want to go Turbo-Nitrous...

i wouldnt go out and bye an intake and headers if your gonna go turbo because your just gonna be getting a new manifold and tubing for your kit?? no sence to waist money when you can save up for a nice kit!
