anyone else's rear defrost not work for shit?
well thats ******* gay... i wonder what the weight savngs would be if i ripped that stupid **** out... prollie 4 OZ max but id have the button to play with for other purposes.. plus their wouldent be any gay lines going across the rear windshield. i think im gonna do it. hell if it doesnt serve no function, wtf's the use?
Well mine works, it just takes forever to start working. Leave it in, because in the winter the rear glass stays fogged up, and is nearly impossible to see out of.
yea, mine does not work at ALL. if their is a slight fog on the rear wind. and i turn it on, BARLY 2mm from the element is clear. other than that its ****** useless.
You might want to check those little lines that run across the rear window. There may be a split in one and that could be the reason for your defrost not working!
This happened to me once. I had to go buy a kit to fix it. You just put tape on either side of the element line and use the stuff in the kit to repaint the line on an presto!

Yeah use conductive silver paint... they sell it at computer stores and radio shizack..
it's almost DEFINATELY a bad connection somewhere...
Mine ROCKS... it's faster than putting on the a/c which is pretty fast in itself..

Where do you live that your windows are getting frost on them this time of year?

use the anti-fog made by rain-x. works great, and since its the back window you will probably need to only apply it once.
that's another good idea... I have a "fog mit" that you just wipe over the window and it dramatically reduces fog... it's great because it drives me NUTS that I have to put on the a/c everytime it rains...
