Installed Type R springs on 99 coupe, now there is clinking sound :(

I did some investigation and it looks like the dust cover on the strut is loose....what did I doi wrong? This is the from passenger corner... all the other sides are fine... what should I do...take it off and re-do? or is there a easier way to fix it?
