Default RC 310cc injectors don't fit!!!

Ok I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with RC injectors not fitting into the manifold? Mine fit the fuel rail but they don't fit in the manifold. They are 310cc and I'm using a 94 Skunk 2 IM.

yeah I had problems at first.

They aren't suppose to fit like stock injectors.

put them in the fuel rail then tighten the fuel rail down, not too tight cuz you'll break the fuel rail stud.

Pull out Helms or Haynes and look up the torque specs for the fuel rail. On my D16 it was 109 in-lbs. I think.

Ok I'm not trying to find out the torque specs, although 109in/lbs equalls about 8.9 ft/lbs which means hardly any torque at all, which means that the injectors should not have to be PRESSED into the manifold. I guess I'm just an idiot I don't know.

ok maybe this is the problem. I bought the injectors used and all I got was injectors. No bushings or anything like that. I figured all I needed was the rubber seal that fits into the manifold and the injector.

Nope, they use a different seal and mount a little different.
