1600cc Injectors... What fuel rails???
Well I just got a hold of some Golden Eagle Fuel Rails and let me say they are beautiful. they come with -10 feed and return. the only things is the injector bungs are not that big. they are the same size as my str fuel rail which means they will hold my holley 1000cc injectors but i know the 1600cc bosch style will not fit. does anyone know what 1600cc's will fit this rail?? delphi??rc???if not what rail will they fit that is premade. we made the rail for our race car but I dont want to fabricate to save time. i just want to bolt it on and go. thanks for your help.Mike

Just take your rail to a machine shop and have it bored out to fit the bigger injectors. It shouldn't cost much and to my knowledge there's not a rail other than custom that will fit those injectors. We drill all of ours out.

RS Machine charged us $20 to do our rail. Because it needs a hair over 1/2" opening, figured it was easier to do that then to buy a bit and do it ourselves.

who dose anyone need 1600cc injectors? That seems a a bit overkill, maybe I am just stupid and don't know. Even 1000cc's seems nuts to me. Well, unless its an all out race car. Flame if you must, I'm just tryin to learn.

when trying to make 650+ hp with the proper mgmt nothing is overkill. We believe in not trying to max out the injectors before going bigger. we go big the first time out. hope this clarifies it a little for you.

1600cc's good size for Alky.....or just crazy people trying to support very large turbo on fuel and figured what the hell 1000cc / 1600cc same price who cares go bigger just in case if the switch is made to Alky.....I dunno....I was maxed out on 8 750cc injectors last year...but that was batch fired injection....who knows..

we started off with 8 1600cc's on our alky car but i dont think we were close to maxing them out at 700hp. bigger is better on injectors if you have control of them right??

Oh, and we did max those injectors on methanol. I don't think anyone could max them on gas!

Holley makes 2 fuel rails. One fits denso type inject. and the other has the larger openings for bosch style injectors.

maybe i missed it, but what management are you using to tune the 1600cc injectors, motormatrix. Im just curious if youre using hondata still like it says in your sig. Have any of you tried those big injectors with the aem ems?

I'll be running speedpro on the new setup. it can control 1600's no problem. frank from sfp runs 4 16's on their 708 whp street si and it idles perfect and gets 20mpg,out of boost that is. I'm not a big fan of the ems. Id stay hondata before runnign ems.

Tony1 how big of injectors do you think the Aem Ems would be able to handle and idle with. I have 1000 right now but I haven't ran the car with them yet, I'm thinking about going with 1200 to 1600 here this year..
Thanks,
